Where IAISS works

IAISS combines its Juba headquarters with field representation across four states and the Abyei Administrative Area. Field presence means we have a representative on the ground who supports local engagement, contextual understanding, coordination and programme readiness.

Our operational footprint

Six operating areas

Headquarters — Juba, Central Equatoria

Naota Hub, 400 metres past Zain HQ, Gudele 2.

Eastern Equatoria

Torit and Magwi counties — active UNDP-supported PaCC III implementation and field representation.

Western Equatoria

Yambio — representative on the ground supporting community engagement.

Northern Bahr el Ghazal

Aweil Centre and Aweil South — field representation supporting community-level engagement.

Lakes State

Rumbek — representative on the ground.

Abyei Administrative Area

Representative on the ground across the Administrative Area.

Local presence, national outlook

Our representatives maintain relationships with communities, civil society, authorities and other stakeholders. This locally rooted model strengthens early engagement, improves contextual awareness and enables us to develop responsive programmes with communities rather than for them.
